1892 (Meiji 25) Founding of the Moro Hospital (the founder: Seitaro Maruki, M.D.)
1952 (Showa 27) Moro Hospital was incorporated as a social welfare corporation
1971 (Showa 46) Application was submitted for creation of Saitama Medical School based on the Moro Hospital Corporation
1972 (Showa 47) Saitama Medical School was inaugurated
(quorum: 80 students)
1973 (Showa 48) Medical Technologist School, Affiliate of Saitama Medical School, was opened
(quorum: 40 students)(closed in March, 1992)
1976 (Showa 51) Saitama Medical School increased the quorum to 100 students
  School of Nursing, Affiliate of Saitama Medical School, was opened
(quorum: 50 students) (closed in March, 1991)
1978 (Showa 53) Postgraduate Course was opened

1985 (Showa 60) Saitama Medical Center was opened
  School of Nursing, Affiliate of Saitama Medical Center, was opened

1989 (Heisei 1) Saitama Medical School Junior College was opened

2006 (Heisei 18) Saitama Medical University Faculty of Health and Medical Care was opened
