| This laboratory having 220m2 in size is located at the 6th floor of the Institute and licensed by the government (License No. 5004). It is supervised by 3 personnel including 2 licensed personnel. Eight radioisotopes, i.e. 3H, 14C, 32P, 33P, 35S,
45Ca, 51Cr, and 125I can be used for in vitro experiments here. This laboratory is open for qualified scientists from Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Extension of experiments up to 10:00 p.m. is allowed by permission in advance. For the use of this area, registration is required after certain defined training and health check. Approximately 40 users are registered at present, 60% of which are from inside the Institute, showing the importance of this facility. |
